Plywood godown work in basement of residential building
20-Nov-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
Hello Madam/Sir, We are based in Mahaganpathinagar, 2nd house (own house) from the main road - Thimmaiah road. Our neighbor (first site from the road) has built a godown and has rented it to a plywood supplier. The godown faces all our rooms. There is continuous loading and unloading of plywood planks starting from 6am to beyond 10.30pm. It's a disturbance that we have complained to the owner about several times. We'd like the owner to find a new tenant who doesn't disrupt our everyday lives. Could you please advise on the recommended course of action? Thanks.
Hello,
It is causing disturbance and nuisance to you so it amounts to private nuisance. You issue a legal notice to the owner alleging the problems you are facing and state that in liue of no response from your end then will be forced to take legal actions.

its a residential complex then running a godown there is prohibited being a residential area a commercial business cannot be run therefore if or association of people who are running such godowns it can be complained at different authorities.
