Person does not vacate our property

Hello everyone.
Can anyone suggest what to do if someone does not vacate our property.
We do not have a written RENT AGREEMENT with him.
Can he be treated as ILLEGAL OCCUPANT ?
What are our options if we don’t want to go to court?
Even if there is no agreement but it is acknowledged and accepted that the parties have a relationship of tenant and landlord. We send a notice for vacation of the property within 15 days of notice. We will have to do it in conformity with law.

Since you do not have a written Rent Agreement with them then this tenancy will be considered as month to month basis and that can be terminated by giving 15 days notice.
After the expiry of that 15 days, if still he doesnot vacate it then you can file a police complaint for criminal tresspass.
