One month advance notice before vacating Flat

I have give one month advance notice for vocating the flat on 11th Nov as per agreement stating me to give one month advance notice before hand. But the landlord is saying was to be given on 1st not on 11th Nov.
The Advance notice on 11.11.17 is perfectly fine.You will have to wait till 11.12.17 for the premises to get vacated by the tenant.Provided you have not mentioned specifically in the agreement that this notice will be served on 1st day of any month.The agreement is duly read and signed by the tenant.The tenant can not dictate any term beyond the conditions agreed upon in the said agreement.
