Leave and Licence Aggrement in Delhi

I have a tenant staying in a property which is Co-Owned property my me along with another Co-Owner, The said Tenant happens to my employee as well drawing a Salary through Books. My office is in Ground floor and the tenant cum employee lives at another floor of the same building, He has living for 11.6 years now. To avoid any eviction issues in future I want to get the proper documentation/Aggrement/ Affidavits etc done. So that in future No issues crop up and whenever required I may get the property vaccated peacefully .. As of now there are No disputes or issues. But I want to take all the precautions possible. As of Now no Documentation has happenned and NO rent received from him. But he has been living with his family as a Good will gesture permitted by me

You should execute a rent agreement and get the same registered with Sub-registrar concerned. Rental Amount is your discretion. in addition to the registered rent agreement, you can get an indemnity bond signed where the tenants undertakes to indemnify you for all damages suffered by you.

I understand sir. You will have to get the Rent Agreement or a license agreement drafted so aa to save all your future interests and the interests in the property. We can draft the same for you, it will be important that we take care of both the past and future issues both.

I have perused the contents of your query and would advise you to execute and enter into a comprehensive rent agreement with the tenant at the earlier possible to avoid any future issue with regard to the claim of adverse possession aswell. For the same you may contact us.
