Landlord refusing to return security amount

Sir i was on 11 month rent lease but i vacate after 6 month. With a prior notice of one month. But owner refuse to refund my money
You have right to recover your money by filling recovery suit against landlord before civil court or rent controller if not contrary to the rent agreement and notice you gave prior from leaving possession.

You have to approach the civil court for recovery of money and for that you have to file a suit for recovery of money along with the interest. You may also sent a legal notice before filing of the suit although that is not mandatory
