Is any license necessary to draw rent receipts for a hostel?

I have opened a hostel with a capacity of 10 students to accomodate. The students are demanding rent receipts. Please guide me that if any license is necessary to draw rent receipts .
No licence is required only you need to do the agreement with your tenant. You can give the rent receipt on the basis of that. Where is your hostel situated? The rent agreement is for 11 months and if it exceeds 11 months or becomes lease.
