How can I get my possession back from my tenant

15-Mar-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I bought a plot 12 years back where old tenants were already there. All have left the premise with mutual understandings but one of the room is still occupied by a tenant who has not been seen since long. The tenant doesn't has any legal document for occupying the room. The room is in dilapidated state and the roof n doors are all broken. The room still houses few furniture. How Can I take possession of the room?

You did not say, whether you can collect rent from that particular Tenant or not. I think you did not take any rent from him since long. Then if you know his present address, it is duty to send a Notice for quite and vacate the premises with arrear dues, if any. And if you did not know whereabout the said person, then either put a written information to the local Police Station for seized the articles from the said room and take possession the room.
