Housing society barring me from having guests stay at my house

I am a tenant in a housing society in Navi Mumbai. My housing society is barring me to have guests for over night stay even occasionally. I am a migrant and expect outstation guests once in a month or two months. What shoukd I do. Where do I go for help?
You can do the following:
1. If the society is not allowing your guests, then you can write a letter to the secretary or chairman as to why guests are not allowed;
2. Ask them for a copy of the Housing society rules adopted by your society (it is your right to ask them);
3. If they still don't allow you then you can issue a legal notice;
4. Last stage is to file a complaint before the office of the Registrar of Societies.
