Harrasment by tenant,Security deposit issues, threatening by tenant
08-Aug-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
We have rented our premise for the pat 1.5 year. The agreement was signed for first 11 months but he did not want to sign any renewal agreement. Since because he did not renew he always tells us he wants to vacate every second month but not giving us the real picture/notice. For past 6-7 months our tenant was creating unnecessary issue. When We ask him when he actually wants to leave, he takes advantage of COVID and tells us we cannot ask him anything & using abusive language and disconnects the call. Finally he has vacated without paying rent n without notice period. When we send him account settlement n inspection report for last month rent deduction n damage charges he started harassment by sending emails with abusive language n threatening that he s going to file a case against us.Tenant's wife n other friends n all also calling me n my wife and harrasing / threatening that they are going to take legal action if we did not return the full security deposit. We have all email records
