Have you executed any rwnt agreement. If yes then he cannot turn you out of the house. The amount of rent can also be adjusted with security deposits. He has to follow the legal process to get his property vacated. If the tenancy is oral
Then you can restrain him from evicting you by approaching to the court

Hi, before suggesting you any legal remedy on the issue I want to clarify if you have any rent agreement where the terms and condition are signed by both the parties. Anyway if you are living on rent in any accommodation it is the duty of tenant to comply with the terms to pay rent on time and not to adjust refundable security. Relation of tenant and landlord exists only on the fulfillment of terms & condition by both the parties. It's also the duty of landlord to provide you peaceful accommodation. The tenancy breaks whenever any of the party doesn't comply with the terms and condition settled before the starting of tenancy. You may approach the door of court to resolve the dispute between landlord and tenant.
