WITHHELD OF SALARY WITHOUT ANY PRIOR INTIMATION OR INFORMATION

My employer has withheld my salary for October 2024 without providing any prior notice or information. Upon contacting HR, I was informed that the salary was withheld based on direct instructions from the MD. When I attempted to connect with the MD, they cited baseless allegations of losses due to negligence as the reason. I am a General Manager in the company, could you please advise whether my case would be eligible for acceptance by the labor court to recover the withheld salary?

Good Evening. We have perused the contents of your query and Would advise You to seek a detailed legal consultation for initiating the recovery of your legitimate dues. Your case would not come within the ambit of labour court as you are at managerial post and not as a workmen
