Whether interest from the date of dismissal can be claimed

Whether eligible to get interest from the date of dismissal..for back wages . Approval petitions dismissed...Writ petition also dismissed..
Back wages is awarded when termination of an employee is set aside by the Appellate Authority. Interest on backwages is award by the Authority and the Appellate Courts. As such you are entitled to claim interest on back wages. However, writ petition order and other orders have to be perused to give further case specific related opinion.
