Unpaid Salary and Cheque Recovery Post Resignation from IANT

21-Dec-2024 (In Labour & Service Law)
I served as Placement Manager at IANT, J.M. Road, Pune, from 4th March 2024 to 11th July 2024, under a salary of ₹47,500/month. Despite partial payments (₹70,000 total), my salary dues remain unpaid. No salary slips, tax deductions, or PF benefits were provided. I resigned without serving the 2-month notice period and my ₹90,000 cheque remains unreturned. Post-resignation, despite formal follow-ups and an email on 26th Sept 2024, no settlement occurred. How can I recover my dues and cheque?

Well, in order to recover your dues and outstanding cheques, you need to send a Legal Notice to the opposite party. If things won't work out after sending Legal Notice, then, you can file a Civil Suit under the concerned provisions of the CPC, 1908.
