Termination on ground of absconding

Dear Sir, I was ex employee of L&T Financial Services, i joined this company 2.5 years back and resigned after 1 month of my joining and asked them for early relieving as there was major issue in my family as my uncle was on death bed; my company accepted my resignation and acknowledged me about the same. My immediate boss told me that i was relieved immediately and can left the company. But now when i am checking me employee portal my employment status is shown "TERMINATED". Few days back i had an interview with L&T Regional Head in different dept. and told him about the same termination issue and he asked me to clear the same with HR and HR is saying that i was absconded by the company for not serving notice period. Sir plz help me through this.
