SERVING NOTICE PERIOD WITHOUT OFFER LETTER.

I have recently joined a company in November 2020 & they have only given me Letter of Intent in which there is no mention of notice period, and no other contract has been signed regarding the same.
Only previous employment & college mark sheet were exchanged
I wan't to leave this company ASAP so without proper offer letter do i have to serve notice period if the company ask for it ?
If there is no clause of notice period in the letter of intent/offer you need not serve the notice period and you can submit the resignation and hand over the company belongings if any however please check the terms and conditions of the joining letter if it was provided at the time of joining the employment.
