Notice period extension after resignation?

01-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi, the notice period of the organization I'm working in is 90 days. I resigned last month and convinced them to make it 60. So I'll be relived by July end. But they have provided me with a trainee as my replacement and it's tough to train him with everything in such a short span of time. Is it possible that they might go back on their original 90 day notice and make me serve extra 30 days because I haven't trained my replacement properly? Please help

If they have promised you in writing, then they will fulfill their promise, otherwise not. This is usually happens in Corporate Offices or Companies. Better to take everything from them in writing. As you cannot trust anyone these days.
