If you paid notice buy-out and resigned, marking you as “terminated” is incorrect. It amounts to wrongful recording of separation. You may demand rectification in writing and seek legal remedy for damages if not corrected.

It is illegal for the company to not issue a relieving letter to you despite complying with its terms. Moreso, it is incorrect to term such resignation as termination. It is imperative to address the company vide email. If they fail to revert then you may take legal steps for the same. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice/assistance as regards the same.
