If the employer expressly confirmed 21 August 2026 as your Last Working Day and accepted your resignation/handover accordingly, it may be difficult for them to subsequently characterize your departure as “absconding” or automatically recover notice-period wages; enforceability of the ₹29,976 demand depends on your appointment letter, notice clause, resignation correspondence and the terms under which the early release was accepted. You can issue a formal legal notice disputing the alleged liability and demanding payment of the ₹50,024 withheld in the Full & Final settlement, with interest/appropriate compensation, and, if unresolved, pursue the appropriate labour/contractual remedy based on your employment status and applicable law.
