Non acceptance of resignation due to ongoing staff enquiry

My employer is not accepting resignation and I fear they will reject my resignation on last working day like they did for one of my subordinate. Customer had filed complaint to RBI where in my subordinate was involved but I was also enquired by committee.The complaint is closed from bank end and customer end in November. But my subordinate is still not recieved his reliving letter. HR is not disclosing my part or results of enquiry too
If you have tendered your resignation then the company is required to accept it in due course of time and cannot bind you beyond the contract period. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice as regards the same.
