I am working as contractual staff in a government university. My new chairperson (female) has overburdened me with tons of responsibility which are beyond my area of expertise. Kindly guide from Legal perspective.

Are the tasks within the ambit of your job? Why is she assigning you extra work? Did you have a spat? When did she join? Is she doing such things with other staff members as well? We will be able to assist you better only after knowing more details.

You must have singed a term before joining the said institution therefore if you are given work under or as per your plan/term then it’s alright however if work assigned to you are going beyond your terms, you can always get a legal notice sent to the concerned person through a lawyer.
