Is a bond on stamp paper not signed a valid legal document

20-Jul-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I searched for a job. Its a typing job.I got a call for it and I accepted. They sent me the material for typing. But I don't have the laptop at the time. When i said that I don't want to do the job they said they will take legal action if I don't pay the registration fees. I mean if I don't do the work they will take Rs 6150 from me. They sent me a stamp paper bond and at first asked about addhar card and sent it. So the stamp paper bond is legal or not. Because I don't have any signatures on it?.

An agreement without a signature is not an agreement at all. You need not worry, ask them to take a legal action whatever way they want. There happens to be no cause of action for them and hence no question of any legal action.

This is my response to you:
1. You have nothing to worry if you have not signed on any document;
2. They can maximum send you legal notice but they will not have merits;
3. If you want complain to the police station against them for harassing you.

If you have not made any agreement for work or any written consent to join that job you can deny. You may return their doctor bond if you hav with you.
No legal action against you if you don't signed any paper for this job.
You no need to pay any amount.
