If employee makes mistake can employer deduct the salary

If employee doing mistake in work, Can owner deduct the salary?
If any standing order in the company and mistake is harsh than harsh punishment can be given . All depends on ur post / work profile and company profile. Otherwise they cannot deduct if ur first mistake , warning is enough

Interesting query. It shall depend on your contract with the employer. If your contract says so then they can incurs some penalty or damages. But it cannot be arbitrary or harsh.
