I had worked in permanent post i a cpsu more than 35 years, the epmployer dismissed me from the service & forfeited gratuity wholy. I am seeking advice & help.
Such action seems to be prima facie illegal. however, have you submitted any representation from your side seeking the reasons for such dismissal and subsequent forfeiture of the gratuity? And, if yes, have you received any response from them? Considering your representation and response, we can strategize the next steps.

You can file an Original Application before the Central Administrative Tribunal and challenge dismissal along with it you will have to file a M.A to claim you gratuity. have you approached your employer or any step had been taken by you so far
you pls verify your nature of appointment may be in your official offer letter
keep ready your all papers to proceed in this regard if required to lodge any legal step
