Got mail from HR, Breach of NDA

My new Employer is customer's customer's customer to my previous Employer. My previous Employer NDA was. I should not join customer or customer's customer either directly or indirectly from any organization. Will that legal ? My relieving letter is hold frommy previous company

You have to comply the terms of your employment contract and if any breach intentionally or to cause loss to the employer you are liable to compensate for it in this regard they may drag you to court so make sure yourself your resignation not impacted them and take some legal steps to avoid future legal repercussions
