Discharge while Over Staying Leave
17-Jul-2026 (In Labour & Service Law)
I would like to know if anyone can help me get discharged from the Indian Army while I have been overstaying my leave for the past 1 year and 2 months.
You may seek legal assistance, but after overstaying leave for 1 year and 2 months, discharge is not automatic. You should surrender before your unit, explain the reasons, and apply through proper military procedure. Legal advice can help protect your rights and guide you during disciplinary and discharge proceedings.
