Consequence of doing regular course in University with my Govt. Job

14-Mar-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I've a 9:30-5:30 govt job and prior to joining my job I was pursuing law from Faculty of Law, Delhi University. Now Daily 3.5 hours of my job clash with my classes in college since BCI has asked to stop evening law classes in Delhi university. But somehow I've managed to attend the college by taking leaves. I've not been granted permission by my office to pursue law, so they will not register my law degree in their records. Now while applying for UPSC/SSC/Judicial services I want to tell them that I've done law and job (which I cannot hide as my NPS card has been made). Will UPSC/SSC/Judicial services consider my degree or will my law degree gets wasted ?

you need to understand that you cannot be present at 2 places in one time. Same is the scenario here your law degree would not be considered by the government. Government jobs offer study leave you can apply for that and get your legal degree and finish the degree and submit it

Dear, according to your query it is clear that u joined the course before joining the govt. job.
So, the concept of taking permission from the department goes off. Now, you have to intimate the department regarding your course which you have completed.
For future whenever you apply for any exam be it judicial or UPSC you are totally entitled to show that you had a valid law degree along with the work experience.
