Can i apply govt job with new name changed legally ?

HI, I have changed my name after graduation via legal process. ( 2 paper notification , affidavit ) I have passport / pan / aadhar number with my new name. Can i apply govt job with my new name ? In the application form it says to fill name as per marksheet. ( Marksheet And Degree certificate are with old name ) Please suggest asap. ?
If you have changed your name legally, then your new name is your actual legal identity. Go ahead and apply for the government job, but please also disclose the change of your legal name and get a notarised affidavit prepared to be presented at any time of need.
