Absconded want to take documents by paying penalty

I have worked at an organization for 5 months due to health issues I have absconded. After 7-8 months I reached out to hr for relieving and exp even if I have to pay penalty but they are not accepting to provide me the documents. I need a solution to clear this abscond. Can i go legally
Yes you can go legally by sending notice to company as you need ur original documents and also you are ready to pay for penalty,, no company can hold ur documents they have to return your documents by asking penalty , if they are not returning we go to court and get out documents, approach us we help you
