Fraud done by bank on Car Insurance

Sir/Maam I Bought a car in 2016 february and from the showroom i was forced to have insurance done from there only.My car was bought on commercial head,but the insurance company provided me the insurance on private head.Due to that i was not able to go for registration.As doing the same on an speculated time was essential.So i went for another insurance.The Company told that they will do it but first they will cancel the previous one and then provide new one.They told that the previous amount which i paid for my vehicle insurance will be refunded in whole... but at the time of refund they don't do.... what should i do now... i've tried several times to talk to them but they are not responding .. i went to IRDA too but they also won't responded.... Sir/Maam plz help me
In the given situation you will have to approach and file a complaint for the said issue in IRDA, as mentioned you have already done the same, it is advisable to wait for some time or you can approach consumer redressal forum and file a complaint against the said company which forced you to buy the insurance and committed the said and the insurance company as well, you can file a complaint against the said opposite parties under section 2(1)(g) of Consumer Protection Act.
