Description of IPC Section 63
According to section 63 of Indian penal code, Where no sum is expressed to which a fine may extend, the amount of fine to which the offender is liable is unlimited, but shall not be excessive.

In simple words, if no specific amount is mentioned for the fine, the court can impose any amount as a fine, but it should not be excessive.
