Description of IPC Section 102

According to section 102 of Indian penal code, The right of private defence of the body commences as soon as a reasonable apprehension of danger to the body arises from an attempt or threat to commit the offence though the offence may not have been committed; and it continues as long as such apprehension of danger to the body continues.

In simple words, Section 102 of the Indian Penal Code states that the right of private defense of the body starts when there is a reasonable fear of harm from an attempt or threat to commit an offense, even if the offense has not yet occurred, and it lasts as long as the fear of harm persists.
