Wrong education level mentioned in passport

When i applied for passport i was in my graduation program and i was studying in pune, my travel agent in ahemdabd stated me as self employed and termed my highest edu level as 12th. now i am applying for students visa in france for masters course. how will this affect my visa application?
I do not think this will in any way impact your student visa application provided you are the same person for whom the agent had applied for passport. Also, I do not think that the visa application will ask you any specific question pertaining to your passport issuance.
In case you need to renew the passport in future, please do it yourself and specify everything correctly on the passport renewal application.
