Consultant asking to pay 6 lakhs for arranging an interview in UK

Dear Sir/Madam, I have done my Masters in UK and working in India right now. I have gone to a consultant for immigration purpose. He suggested me a freelancer (says she is a lawyer also) who could help me in arranging an interview in UK company and for my Visa. She is saying that she will charge me around 6 lakhs. If the process fails, she is saying she will refund the whole amount. Should I go ahead?. How can I find she is genuine or not?. What are all the things I should look into while signing an agreement? Expecting your valuable reply.

I will advise you to work with a reputable firm who have a proven track record of helping foreign nationals settling in the United Kingdom. Get referrals from the agency so that you can contact their previous clients and get to know their experiences with this particular firm.
In case you decide to sign a contract with this firm, make sure putting money in an escrow fund so that each party has control over the fund and no one can take it out unless you find a job and eventually a work visa for the United Kingdom. Or may be, you may agree to release the funds in step-by-step manner so that you confident about the process.
