GST claim on import item how to do

21-Jul-2023 (In GST Law)
Hi, I have purchased an item from China for company's internal use (not for sale item). My company is registered in MP and I have a GSTIN of MP. The product that I have purchased from China has a delivery address of Noida, UP (No other address is mentioned on the invoice except delivery address). Now, the courier company states that since the GST is of MP and the delivery address is of UP, you will not be able to claim the GST amount on the product. I have the following questions: 1. I want to know if the courier company's claim is valid or not. 2. If it is valid then, is there any way to claim the GST on it?

If the place of supply or shipped address in utter pradesh than you should have a uttar pradesh gstin number for taking ITC otherwise it's shows end user consumption and ITC will not available,,,,,,,,,
