Will my mother be legal heir of ancestral property after fathers death

10-Jun-2023 (In Family Law)
My father used to send money to my grandfather through money order to purchase a house in 1979 at kerala. House was purchased in the name of my grandfather. He passed away and house was transfered to my grandmother. Grand mother wrote an unregistered will stating my father will be the beneficiary after her death. Unfortunately my father died and grandmother is still alive. Will my mother become a legal hire automatically and instead of my father my mother will get the house after my grandmother's death?

Kindly let me know that weather your father was the only child to your grandmother?
It will be easier legally if your grandmother makes a new will in your mother's name.

Hello
Will executed after the death of such person but in your case nominee had died before your grandmother then her legal heirs have right over property after her death instead of that if your granny wants to change her will and make with your mother's name then she entitled.
