Where the girl is a major, she can marry without the consent of her parents. Her parents cannot take any legal action against you for marrying their daughter against their will. A girl who is above the age of 18 can marry a boy of his choice. And her parents cannot force her to marry someone else.

That's not a difficult task.

If you are of legal age to marry, then you may marry.

You can complain against her brother in Police.

Legally no one can resist you, so don't be afraid of threats given by her brother.

In response to your query you both can perform marriage under Section nine of the special marriage Act for that purpose one month notice is required to be given because it is mandetory under this Act in that case it will be a valid marriage.
