Regarding section 9 and a criminal case FIR

My husband filed for a section 9 ...and he has so many allegations on me ...and he beaten me in front of police station where I have cctv camera footage... because of that FIR have been issued i don't know how to handle this all

you can file case of sec 498 against him along with it is sufficient ground that you can deny to live with him. just file case of cruelty and assault against him. family court will not accept decree of section 9 if sufficient ground for not living with him is found. for rest you can contact me

Hello Reader Since your husband has already filed a Section 9 petition (Restitution of Conjugal Rights), and you also have an FIR against him for assault, both matters will proceed independently. The CCTV footage of the incident outside the police station is an important piece of evidence. Please preserve the original footage and provide it to your advocate and the investigating officer. It can support your allegations of physical violence.
