Procedure for cancellation of marriage certificate

My friend (Girl - Hindu community) she married to boy (Hindu) the day she turned 18, as registered marriage. At the time of registration none of family member were present as witness district tehsildar and other two friend of boy signed. Post this registered marriage girl has never stayed with boy and was staying with parent. Its been 3 days since this marriage has taken place. Girl still stay at parent place. Please let me know: If this marriage has any legal ground ? Can the certificate be cancelled? What is the process to seek this certificate cancellation ?
Marriage certificate cannot be cancelled if they have done court marriage. They have to wait for a period of one year to get divorced under Hindu Marriage Act. Details of marriage required as you inform the certificate was issued on the day girl turned 18. Birth proof needs to be examine before advice.

This marriage is valid. You will have to file a case in court. Just because the girl is living with her family post marriage doesn't mean any third party can invalidate the marriage. Further this case can be filed only by either the boy or girl. No third party can file a case. Kindly get in touch with a lawyer asap

Sir first of all as per the narrator this wedding took place at the tehsil so it is no wedding as the tehsil has no jurisdiction for the wedding. So sir check the document and tear it and burn it . That is all when the evidence is not there then the wedding too is not there . because this marriage has no social or legal ground. Then too burn that. Illegal document for safety reasons that is all.
