Possibilities for legal action taken by brother against a married sis

My sister has been married for 5 years and I. These years she has been tortured mentally on n off n he slapped even few times...She has no property nothing on her name..He doesn't pay for her expense either...If we take legal action ..What are the possibility
She should file a police complaint immediately to stop the violence immediately. Sha can ask for protection against domestic violence, maintenance inter alia other relief under the Prtection of Woman Against Domestic Violence Act . She can contact the nearest protection officer appointed by the state government for more details and help or meet an advocate.

Its depend, what do you want. If u want to continue her relationship, jst sit together and convince him. Talk together that what is the problem or what he want. If u want divorce from her husband you can file case in court. If your grounds proved in court yuo can get divorce with maintenance and some amount.
