Notary Marriage in Cuttack, Odisha. Validity of Notary Marriage

Someone is suggesting me to do Marriage before Notary Public, Cuttack. Whether notary marriage is valid and accepted.
There is no provision for Marriage to be solemnised or registered before Notary Public.
The Notary Marriage Affidavit is just a piece of paper having no legal sanctity and validity.
Solemnise your marriage under Section 5 of the Special Marriage Act before Sub Registrar / Marriage Officer in Cuttack. A certificate of Marriage will be issued in your favour which will legally bind you as husband and wife and the Marriage Certificate is a valid document which is accepted by all departments of State and Central Government.
