Mother in law filled a false case at women well, what to do

My mother in law filed a case against me in mahila thana. I have not received any written document or compaint. My in laws do not stay with us. I had some issues going on with my husband and my husband also sent me a notice. One person from mahila thana called me up and asked me to appear before SHO for counselling. I am innocent and dont want to agree on any of my husband or in laws conditions as they want me to leave my job and stay at home to take care of his parents.

If your in-laws are creating troubles in your life by making false allegations against you and by pressurising you to leave your job, you can also file a complaint against them under various provisions of law in court as well as in police station.

Hi , it is advisable to go for counselling and join the investigation .. No one can force you to leave your job .. You can visit the office and state your defence in front of the investigation officer

For Proper advice we need copy of Notice. It is duty of Police Officers to find ways for compromise. Their is lot of options pending for you to start legal proceedings against your Husband and others
