Mother in law creating rifts between husband and wife

29-Aug-2023 (In Family Law)
My mother in law not allowing me & my husband to live together in our rented flat. My husband is influenced by my mother law very much. I am 8 months pregnant & presently residing at my parents home. we live together for 3 months in our rented flat after separating with my MIL. during this time period my husband didn’t gave me any money for expenses. After 3 moths my MIL take him along with her & after that he didn’t contact me. After sending him a notice through advocate he deposited 10 K to my account for rent & other expenses. I am a working women & earning same as my husband. If I file a complaint through Protection office & ask for alternative residence, as my MIL is not allowing me to enter their house I would like to know 1. If alternative residence is provided by my husband then will he stay with me ? 2. If it will his choice to reside in alternative residence & he refuses, then after a year he can prove that we not living together & files for a divorce??

As you think why this much easy way your husband will not provide you alternate residence but if your husband will provide you alternate residence then both of you can live together
There are so many grounds for divorce
Even you and your husband can file divorce against each other

Yes, you may file a complaint under Protection of woman from domestic violence and also seek for residential orders as well as maintenance towards you and your expected baby. You may make party to your mother in law too
