MIL took money but now is refusing to return my money, what can i do

My mil took my jewels and pledged it for fil medical expenses.. now dint return so I paid money to bank and took the jewel back. Now they refuse to pay my money back.I want to get the money back.
if the mil gave any instructions to collect the Jewell from the bank otherwise you take the action against him there is no proper explanation if they are insist you, you can sue against the mil otherwise you can file the case on labor court
