Legal objections to marry a person without parents consent

13-Nov-2023 (In Family Law)
Hi I am a 35yrs divorcee and been divorced for past 4yrs and have a 10yrs old son. One of my best friends brother came forward to marry me and accept my son.He is unmarried. He is 43yrs old and we both are of the same religion and locality. We both are Roman Catholics. My parents are dead against me remarrying so without anyone's knowledge we have applied for registration marriage two weeks back. My question is if there is any objection will our marriage be cancelled in the registration office? We both are major so will there be any constrains for us to marry? Kindly clarify

if you got divorce from competent court of Law and have divorce papers in your hand, you can go for second marriage, even after applying for marriage registration, if any objections received from competent to person, then only the registering authorities will look into the same.
