It is illegal marriage you have to wait till you complete the age of 21 though you can vote but you can't marry till you complete the age pescribed under the law and any act before 21 for you and for girl 18 years is illegal marriage

You can marry only after completing 21 years of age (for boys). The girl should have completed her 18 years of age. In your case although the girl has completed 18 years of age but you have not exactly completed 21 years, so it is illegal for you to marry. Marry only after completing the legal age (21 for boys and 18 for girls).

Going by the law in India, the marriageable age of a girl is 18. While that rule is routinely flouted in communities in which child marriage is prevalent, what if a minor girl voluntarily decides to marry the person of her choice and stay with him?
In the wake of a large number of girls opting to marry before the set legal age, the Supreme Court recently observed that it is difficult to arrive at a "straitjacket formula on marriageable age of girls to fit every case", and experts feel that the complex issue needs to be addressed soon.

The Supreme Court's comment came after a National Commission for Women (NCW) plea about Delhi High Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court rulings allowing minor girls to remain married, as they acknowledged that they had eloped voluntarily with their beaus.
