Is it possible that my lawyer is cheating me?

Sir my name is .In July 2017 l have kept maintenance case on my Husband.next month that is in August the letter was returned.my lawyer said again we have to send till he will received that.and we have paying beta for that every month.now my question is from next month onwards the letter was not being returned.if the lawyer send the court notice it should be received or returned.both are not going on.my lawyer is sending notice or not how can I know sir.and one thing he is telling that it is maintenance case,it should be send to office address only.but my husband is not receiving that notice, might be he changed the office?shall we send to residential address?please give me any suggestion sir?how can I know this?one time when I kept 498 case on him my lawyer and his lawyer both are faced each other at police station.my lawyer is cheating me?help me sir!

It is not proper to allege that your lawyer is cheating you without finding out the actual facts. First of all, visit the family court section where the case is going on and inquire about the status of the notices. The court staff will help you in this. If your husband is not receiving the notice sent to his office, you can send the next notice to his residential address with the permission of the court.

I dont think so that your lawyer cheated you, might be in law initially process is very slow and you need to have patient and you have to believe on your advocate and you need to follow your case properly.

As according to me the notice which is send by court will also contains an acknowledgement card and that acknowledgement card will be revived by the court of the said person is found at address., for example if the said person is not found on the said address then the post men will return the postal cover to the court.
Now in your case you have to cooperate with the section people and also verified in Naazarat section weather the said notice is served or not. I further guide you to take file a petition u/sec 151 saying this hobble court to server the notice on the residence & then if he try to revived the notice than take an paper publication notice by the court and file the publication paper along with memo.
