My advice to you will be no, because the person who have not attended the age of 18 is child in the eyes of law. If you marry a girl who is 16 years old, she stands to be a child and child marriage is prohibited in India its an offence in the law.

The answer to your query is a big no. Do not commit that mistake. Marrying and consummating with a wife less than 18 yrs of age is a cognizable offence. It amounts to rape under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Also, for a valid marriage the girl should be at least 18 complete.

Sir,
No you will have to wait till she is 18 years to get married .Otherwise also it is advisable to wait for her to complete her education and be ready physically and mentally for marriage. What is the hurry ?
