Gift deed is always gracious i.e. without any consideration and is always given out of love, kind, care and/or affection. Since Gifting of money to someone attracts proper Stamp Value to be affixed (stamp duty/value may differ from state to state), hence it is always advisable to mention the amount/money given as gift as it is beneficial for both and for taxation purpose also w.r.t. the source of money/ income.

Money is not a valid consideration in a gift. Only love and affection is the valid consideration for gift. Similarly, it's not required to mention the money consideration in a gift deed. Gift deed is to be executed without mentioning any amount of money.

Only value is mentioned. It's a gift deed executed when some property is gifted and money is not exchanged and is always executed out of love and affection and is executed without any money if money is exchanged then it becomes sale deed
