Husband blamed me for stealing jewelery now filed for restitution

31-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
My husband had filed a case of Restitution of conjugal rights against me. We have had few hearings already and next date . I have been defending my case in person. My husband has put across false allegations that I have stolen my matrimonial jewellery. I would like to know whether at any point can I be asked to deposit in the court of law the sum of money against the jewellery that they have falsely alleged I have stolen? Also can they put allegations against me where on one hand they are filing for restitution? Can I argue that when he considers his wife as stealing the jewellery , would a sane person file Restitution? I would be highly obliged if you could guide me regarding the above queries and oblige.

Unless the allegation are proved against you till then u need not worry about it. Restitution is right given to them its up to you whether u want to go with him or not. Try to resolve matter amicably.
