How To obtain legal heirer certificate as a Step father

My wife got divorced mutually 10 years befr nd have 2 children of 1st husband. Her 1st husband also got remarriage and has two children of 2nd wife. My wife and me got married three years before and registered too. The first husband two children staying with us only as per thierwish.Two months before my wife died due to deceased. She has property in her name.My question how can we apply for legal heirer certificate for me and two children of 1st husband. Can I mention as father of her children.

go to the Taluk office, collect the application form, fill it accurately, attach necessary documents of the death certificate, proof of relationship and submit self-declaration stating the relationship and the details of the legal heirs.
